'The Book of Eli' Trailer HD

I finally saw "The Book of Eli"...

"A post-apocalyptic Western, in which a lone man fights his way across America in order to protect a sacred book that holds the secrets to saving humankind."

The Rotten Tomatoes critics gave it a 47% approval. The viewers gave it a 67%.

I like sci-fi/action flicks and had to watch it again right away to catch all the missed details.
Highly Recommended by me A++

It's a good movie Rick, maybe a little tough to watch but the cinematography is excellent...I recommend it very highly...and I'm curious to hear your take on it.

I just saw it recently too.  Better than I thought it would be.  But for about 3/4 of the film it seemed like most other end of the world movies.  Anyway, Denzel is good in it and there are some cool scenes and different locales too.  Let us know what you think Rick.

I thought it was pretty cool. Interesting cinematography, and really well choreographed fight scenes.  The Surprise Twist at the end was almost too subtle though; the reveal should have been delivered with a lot more impact, in my opinion.

I agree with you in the end totally. I do think that the movie was way to violent. I don't think the blood and guts did anything to push the story forward.
Ripley: Ash. Any suggestions from you or Mother?
Ash: No, we're still collating.
Ripley: [Laughing in disbelief] You're what? You're still collating? I find that hard to believe.

Just watched the "Book of Eli" on Davidkill say so who recommended it
so not only do I get to judge the film but your film choice too.....

Thoroughly enjoyed the film and didn't see the twist coming,
on reviewing bits of the film the clues are there.

I would give it a 7/10
"The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, and a lot of bitching."

I tried to watch it a couple of nights ago and just couldn't get into it.  I'll give another shot later.
