Gosh - that is so darn cool!  :)

I was able to catch it in my telescope once. It's really easy to find. It's only about 350 miles up, so it's not even that far away!

Could you see any detail?

No, it moves so fast it's hard to focus in. With a telescope with a mechanical moving base and a good camera, you can take pictures of it!

I got distracted by this as I was chatting with Ricjk last night. It certainly scoots over at a speed.

Nice video.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Probably be better to look at it with some high powered binoculars in order to track it easier.  You sure have some clear & cool nights Rick - for the summer.

yeah, last night I star watched and it was BEAUTIFUL!  Listened to my friend Darrell's podcast Common Nonsense.  They talked all about Star Trek the original series this last time.  Kind of funny.  :)

The space station won't be visible in my area for awhle now, as it is circling at a different area now.  I caught it on it's last night for awhile.  I'm hoping it comes back soon!  LOVE IT!  I try and get out in the summer at least a couple of nights a week lay on my back and listen to my ipod and just watch for shooting stars and such.  Makes me feel small, but in a good way.  :)

Some of us who are getting bigger as we get older could do with feeling small occasionally! ;)
