Need a free data DVD burning software

I need a good, (and hopefully free) data, DVD burning software to backup some files off my PC.  Something like NERO (which I have on my other PC at home - but not with me).  Any good suggestions?

Doesn't Nero have a free lite version?

Nero Lite doesn't have .avi encoding, or some other very common video file
