Forum email sick?

In the last couple of hours I've had 2 PMs and some replies to a thread I have set to notify me yet haven't received an email.

My emails working, I've had two from the bank (yawn) so I was wondering if we had a problem at the forum end. Either way, it's no big deal to me - I'll cope!

Shelby asked me about this a bit too earlier.  I never use that function on the forum so I really have no idea if or how well it works.  Check your settings is all I can say and maybe resave them.  I'm guessing it has also something to do with the type of email you use.

Could be. It was just that it worked until then and something seems to have changed.

I doubt the forums set up for 'instant alerting', I assume it's on some sort of round robin once an hour or something so it may be that I've fallen between updates.

I'll poke the settings and see what happens.

Last night I was having trouble posting but it was all fine by this morning.

Just received a notification for Ricks post. Two and a half hours late.

From the mail history it looks like the forum is sending them out on time but they're getting delayed in the delivery system somewhere.

I am now too. Just got one from 22 hours ago. Definately not a forum problem :)

Yes, it seemed to slip for a while in the middle of last week but looks to be back on track since I just got notified of your post here.
