LOL, thanks. It's good she's a talker and hi-larious, otherwise our show would be boring. :D

I kow how you feel Jen, look at me and Kell,  boy do my ears hurt after a show ha ha

In honor of your podcast, here are pics of The Shire and Bag End as they are today! These were from our trip to New Zealand in 2006. We visited a lot of the filming sites such as the Shire, Rohan, and even drove by Mt Doom!

Jen

Oh wow! So cool! Thanks for posting those. :)

It's sort of sad to see them empty though, I almost expect to see little hobbits tending their gardens and sweeping out their hobbit holes. :)

The topics of "Point Counter Point" and Firefly "Shindig" are neck in neck here on the boards. On our blog, Shindig is winning. Don't forget to vote for the next topic on Anomaly! :)

Esh, according to the article...maybe not: "As part of the suit, they are asking to recover all further film rights to Tolkein's work which jeopardizes the future of 'The Hobbit'."

I was focusing on the good news:
"... has started the re-building of Hobbiton with the planting of hedgerows and fruit trees." :)

Lawsuits are often about money, and if the film isn't made, no one gets any money! So I usually assume they will settle for an undisclosed but substantial amount.

The sheep farmer on who's property Hobbitown is built on is making a bloody fortune on it! They bus you in from town and it's a $ guided tour, but well worth it.

Great podcast, Jen!  You and Angela hit it out of the park, as always.  :)

By the way, if you get a chance, tell Angela that the NĂºmenor is more a nationality, like German or American, than a race.  I think Tolkien intended it to be an Atlantis analogue-- an ancient, very advanced society that mysteriously vanished.  I read somewhere that the NĂºmenorians were human, just extremely advanced compared to all the other human tribes of Middle Earth.

Long story short; Strider is a human.  (I think)  :-\  :)

Just finished my interview with Dany Pepin about his audio drama and various other things. He's a very nice guy. He said that The Forcecast asked him for an interview and he turned them down! He had already agreed to an interview with us. So Anomaly totally scooped the Forcecast! :D  He jokingly said he was afraid he might start a war between our shows, to which I replied: "they don't even know we exist." :D  Because the main character is a woman, and I helped Dany edit his story, he granted us the interview. I feel honored. :)

Yay well done Jen, looking forward to hearing the interview.

A scoop! Always good news. Looking forward to hearing it.

Should we assume that you're always as busy as all this makes you appear to be? :)

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

They did play some of his audio on ForceCast and Star Wars Action News but no interview, your the first!
