I have been a long time fan of The ForceCast. It's one of my absolute favorites. Recently I also started listening to SW Action News and i love it! And I don't even collect! But Arnie and Marjorie are so charming and fun.  :thumbsup

Rico

Yep - I've listened to Arnie and Marjorie a long time.  Great folks and a fun cast.

Arnie and Marjorie have a great dynamic. I'm a regular member of their book club and have been on quite a few as yet unreleased book club roundtables. SWAN just celebrated their 200th episode with a really cool video show.

I just downloaded it as well. And I think I heard you on one of their shows! I have to say, I am a little concerned about their health. They are way too big being that young. :(

Oh right I sent something in for the episode 1 retrospective show. I was also on a few episodes of their Clone Wars roundtable show.

I love SWAN; A&M have great chemistry and it makes for an enjoyable podcast.  Their side-podcast projects are cool as well; I really dug their Star Trek & Terminator retrospectives.

I'm kind of tired of the Forcecast.  I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about it feels to me like a lame, unfunny fluff project put out by Lucasfilm.  I liked it better before Pete (I think that was his name) left the show.

I listen to the Forcecast, but it kind of fades into background noise for me whole I work. Lately the shows have been around 2.5 hours long, I find it just gets really draggy going on that long.

SWAN episode 201 just came out this morning. It was a surprise episode put together by the fans and SWAN staff thanking Arnie and Marjoire. Featuring voicemails from both Rico and myself.

Uh, that's so funny what you guys think about the ForceCast. I think the show has gotten so much better. They get amazing interviews and guests on the show and I never feel like they are shilling for LucasFilm, although they clearly would like have an association with them at some point.

I guess the ForceCast feels a lot more 'corporate' whereas SWAN feels like you're sitting around talking with friends. I just like the second style better.

I hear what you are saying, Joe. I think FC want to be the official podcast of LucasFilm, that's what they are angling for.

If anyone is hitting Comic Con this year, SWAN will be doing a live show (complete with audience interaction!) at the Kotobukiya booth.

Man, The Force Cast has Dave Filloni on right now discussing Season 3. If you are a Star Wars fan, this is by far the best podcast by a long shot. This is what I want ot hear, the people and actors and behind the scenes people who are making Star Wars.

I enjoy SWAN for what it is, but how interesting are store reports from Ohio? Arnie does do good author interviews, bit otherwise their show is about collecting not about Star Wars. ForceCast has taken Star Wars online radio directly into LucasFilm and that's what I want to hear. I think they have done an amazing job.
