Are you supprised Chickenfoot is getting so much mainstream attention?

They were on Conan, all over itunes, and lots of posters and displays at best buy.

I'm personally entertained and intrested but thought the album wasn't quite as good as it should have been.  Maybe the live concert will make the difference.

I have heard a few songs on the radio, but not the whole album. I would think with people like Joe Satriani, Sammy Haggar and Michael Anthony, that musically it should be pretty sound. I know Joe Satriani has had songs with singing in before, and have not listened to everything he has done, but his style never struck me as fitting in with a traditional type band. I will have to see out a few more songs, and decide if I want to buy the whole album. People might be excited about them, since it is a super group, and those always seem to get a lot of attention.

I've been a die hard Sammy fan for a while and was super excited about him being in another supergroup.  I am pleasantly surprised to see music I listen to being pushed in the mainstream media.  Normally, were just a niche audience.  Just like tastes in movies and often TV.
