Not sure how many ever notice this on the main page, but I have a Cluster Map up there showing where visitors to the site are from.  Pretty interesting.  Still can't seem to break into Russia or China much.  Here's what it looks like today...

Yeah.. we have one those for the podcast too...

There's an odd excitement in noting where your cast is from, especially overseas.  :)

Congrats on that!

Wow.. Rico there are quite few more dots on there from when I saw it last.. when I joined it, there were only a few dots in the US. Looks like you are listened to all over the world... Congrats.

I really wonder about some of those one's on tiny islands and those in Africa.  I have visions of someone sitting out in the Serengeti with a laptop watching a pack of zebras go by and listening to Treks in Sci-Fi.  :)

I just checked out that cluster map.. it's amazing how many people visit this site from all over the world.. of course the US is the most.. but it's amazing that you have dots in the middle of the ocean. It's pretty cool knowing so many people all round the world enjoy the Treks in Sci Fi forums.

Rico

Yeah - I need to put one up on the main page again too!

Thought this was interesting

Yeah - Google is a crazy thing.  Keep in mind there is a website that turns audio podcast into text.  So every time I say Treks in Sci-Fi on the show, it gets recorded.  That's plus years of web posts, casts, etc. - it adds up.

I highly doubt these transcripts of the podcasts are very good. "treks in sci fi" is an unusual term, and as they work with probabilities, it is unlikely they get the spelling.
