BSG Season Finale runs 2hr. 11min, prepare DVR's!

This was posted over on the RPF and I wanted to let you all know:

SyFy (yes, that's how they spell their name now) has just announced that the series finale is not 2 hours long. It's two hours AND ELEVEN MINUTES long! As so often happens, this is NOT reflected yet on my cable TV schedule and probably isn't on yours either. If you don't want to miss the last 11 minutes of the series finale, you MUST go to your TV and either extend the episode an extra 15 minutes (or half hour) or just tape the next show airing on SyFy.

Thanks for the heads up Bryan. I usually record them all...but tomorrow I'll be watching it as it airs since it's the last one. :'(

Curious, Dish Neywork shows a start time of 8:10 and 9:10 for the finale. I'm just going to record an extra show at the end.

I just check the guide on my cable box, looks like the Space channel up here in the great white north is re-playing all of season 4.5 starting at 11 am. Before the finale at 9 pm there is a 2 hour "BSG: The Last Frakkin' Special" then the finale.

It's an event! Is anyone having a BSG finale party?

It truly was one of the best shows on tv, It will be very haed to find a filler or replacement as good.

It is tempting to call in sick and just watch BSG all day. Since I work at home, maybe I should just move my laptop to where the TV is ;)

I work from home too. I actually have a standard def Rogers cable box plugged into a secondary input on my computer screen and the audio running into the line in on my computer. I know if I turn it on and flip it to PIP I won't do a stitch of work!

My TIVO already knew about the extra length of the episode. Gotta love TIVO - especially HD - TIVO!

Yeah same with my time warner DVR.. it's all taken care of.
