Thank you Rico. It's a recording of an abridged version of Sevrll's backstory. FYI, I stared this over a year ago. I gleaned a lot in the early days from books and stuff...so some of it may sound familiar. I like writing backstories because it gives me a chance to practice my writing skills—how to construct sentences, how to describe a scene, how to write about feelings... things like that. Basically whatever I found challenging I tried out in the backstory first. I hope it isn't boring. Sort of soap operay in some places. :D  Talking about romantic relationships was sort of embarrassing and a big hurdle for me, so I tried to work it out in a backstory and learned how to write things without just bluntly saying them. Anyway, aside from having some history to draw from for the ongoing Story in the RPG seasons, I use my character's backstory as a lab of sorts for writing experiments. Some failed and some seemed to work. :)

If you have a character, try to write a backstory and add to it ever so often. I usually add to mine in between seasons or when the season slows down.

Jen, I know you were concerned that you'd sound boring. Let me say that I wasn't bored for a second! Your writing and reading are amazing. Very interesting and compelling. Great work!

Thank  you Joe. I appreciate that. :)  I don't know why, but I was very nervous about actually sending this to Rico. I wasn't worried when I came up with the idea to read it. It was just after I finished editing it all that I got a little weird about letting everyone hear it. Don't know why. It never has bothered me to read anything I've written for the Seasons...  :D

I really enjoyed it Jen and I would hazard to guess that this was more of a solo work and your subconscious knew that. It's one thing when it's a group effort, it's another beast when success or failure rests solely on your shoulders.

It was a success. I enjoyed every minute of listening. Now you can take a breath and smile.

Oooooo i look forward to listening to this. Jen you could read the dictionary and it would be a success so never be worried. cant wait to put this on my ipod.

I'd prefer Jen reading the phone book over the dictionary.

Jen, wow, it was excellent, I love the music and the way it was read was great.  Not a dull moment, what a nice deepening of the character.  As Tony the Tiger would say "GREEEEAAAAAAAAAT!"

I have been and always will be, your friend.
