I was reading Denise Crosby's bio and they referenced this scene where Tasha waves goodbye in the background as Picard/Crusher are exiting

Neat !!

That's funny.. never noticed that before.

Yeah, and the other hard thing for her was this episode was actually filmed after the one where she actually died in.  They were just shown in a different order when they aired.

Dan M

I remember reading that in one of the Nitpicker's Guide to Next Gen books.

That's creepy how I've never notice that...and I've watched that episode several times.

They rerun the first four seasons last year here. I've seen this one recently but I never saw that!

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Can't believe so many people didn't know about this! I too discovered the 'wave' from reading the excellent Nitpicker's Guide MANY years ago. Spent hours looking for camera tripods, reflections, boom mikes and incorrect rank pips too....

Boy I AM a geek! :-)

I never liked those nitpicking books, I couldn't understood why fans would point out all the mistakes on a show that they supposedly love. I focus on the story more then if the pips are correct or the reflection of a boom mic. But I guess that's just me.. to each their own.

I always thought they were funny. One of my friends had them in High School we used to like going through them while watching eps we'd seen many times already.

That's the way I read the too. I also liked it when it pointed out 'in-jokes' or 'nods' in the series. For example when David Ogden Stiers guest starred in TNG, one of the LCARS screens was headed with the numbers '4077'.

When the author spent half a page for example explaining why the Enterprise got to a planet too soon because at warp 7 it should have taken X amount of time is when I thought it went too far.....
