The Ready Room One Year Anniversary

On January 28th, 2009 The Ready Room Mircocast will be One Year Old..

Jen and I would like to do something special for this podcast. We were thinking of doing a Skype
Anniversary party, for all our RPG'rs and Fans of the RPG.

Will have a few contests (with prizes) and will hand out awards to our rpg writers ( ex. most improved, favorite readings.. etc...) And of course will talk about our previous eight seasons and what we have planned for Season Nine.

As for time we have been fairly lucky with 10am (PST) 12pm (Central) 1pm (EST) and around 5/6pm in England (I don't know the exact time difference)

I don't know my exact schedule, I'll be back in college by that time, but I'm pretty sure as long as it's on a weekend I'll be able to be on. So the 24th is my vote.

Hello all.. well Season Eight has come to a close... great job everyone. Will be taking a short hiatus in January.

It seems like everyone who voted picked Jan 24th for our 1 year anniversary Skype call. So let's make it official.

Event: Treks in Sci Fi RPG One Year Anniversary Skype Celebration.

When: Saturday, January 24th

Time: 10am (PST), 12pm (Central), 1pm (EST) as for other countries you'll have to do the math.

Where: Skype, make sure I have your skype name, either PM it to me or post it here.

During this skype celebration here are some topics we will be discussing.

* The last season, Season Eight
* The next season, Season Nine
* Contests (with gifts)
* Awards giving out for best rpg (ie, best writer, most improved, best character development, etc...)
* And other geeky conversations

There's even a chance I could pop by for some of that time, if anyone will have me :)

I'm not sure I've got the audio gear for the job though. I generally just shout at the inbuilt laptop mic for Skype but that probably won't cut it here. I'll see what I can do!

If you don't think the laptop mic will do it then a  cheap 10 dollar (or 10 pound!) headset mic would do it I think.
