Geometry Wars is highly addicting...and not as easy as it may look. I'm playing Half Life on the Orange Box right now. I'm a little ADD I guess...I still have to finish Oblivion. I'm at the home stretch after playing almost every single mission the game had to offer. I'm taking a break from it because I don't want it to end. :D

The Force Unleashed is on hold as well. I'm at the point where you have to pull down the Star Destroyers. It's not an easy task and I get frustrated, so I have to put it down and walk away so I can play it with a clear mind.  :yoda

same here, my xbox controller took a flight into one of the beanbags the other day as i sat there fuming. Gone onto COD 5 now to calm the nerves (what does that say about me) ;)

My 360 is on hold completely. Most of my gaming time is working through the WoW expansion. However I love popping on the 360 and playing some Geometry Wars! Very addictive and sometimes frustrating.

I have Geometry Wars on my DS, and my Wife and I play it a lot, I think I wore out my DS because of it. Got both versions for the xbox 360 as well, and both my wife and I have been playing it. I downloaded Zuma as well for my 360, and that is really addictive, I basically stopped playing yesterday because my thumbs got tired  ;D

I had to put Rock Band 2 on hold as well because I got Gears of War II and it is awesome! The environment is amazing and gameplay is smooth. The story is getting better and better with Santiago uncovers clues in the search for his missing wife, Maria. We also find some clues on where the Locust may have come from. My friends and I have a great time playing via Xbox live on the all-new co-operative multiplayer horde. With Horde it's not about winning, it's about delaying the inevitable. What a rush! Did I mention the violence, blood and gore? To quote Martha Stewart "it's a good thing"!

Now I must bow my head in sorrow. For my X-Box has... The RING OF DEATH! Microsoft Service will get it back to me in three weeks! (tear)

BTW, I did finally finish The Force Unleashed and Oblivion on my vacation. I had that as one of my goals! Check out "Sevryll" on Xbox live to see what I accomplished in the games. Still working on the Orange Box games. Haven't picked them up since my vacation. :)

Hi guys, I'm back, even though I haven't posted in a while I am still around lurking quite a bit.

My Xbox/PS3/Wii have been gathering dust ev er since the new WoW expansion was released.  Currently I have been raiding Naxx and all the other end game areas with my Mage having so much fun with my guild.  The little bit of console time I have been getting in has been spent with Fallout 3, Gears of War 2 on the Xbox, and Okami on the Wii.  The PS3 isnt even plugged in although I did patch it to check out what Home was all about.  I wasn't impressed.  Orange box is the best value on Xbox bar none.  Half Life 2 is one the best game ever released on any platform, and the expansions are just as good if not better.  Portal is an experience every gamer must try.  And Team Fortress 2 would be phenominal as well if anyone was playing it over Xbox live anymore.  For 20 bucks if you dont have this game go out and get it right away, its a steal.

So you don't even use the PS3 for the Blu-Ray player?  I hear they probably will be dropping the price in a couple of months.

Yeah, no I haven't even actually bought my first blu-ray disc yet (!) even though I have had the PS3 for almost a year now.  The main reason is that I spend 175 dollars a month for comcast cable and internet, and there are so many HD options available on demand and streaming over the internet that I don't really have the extra money or desire even to spend more to start a blu-ray library.  Any time I want to watch a movie in HD there are so many options available that I dont really need to actually own a disc based medium.  Every time I go to the buyers club I belong to I look at the blue ray section longingly, and feel the barely supressed collector in me crying out:  "Buy me! Buy me!"  I especially felt it with the two disc collectors set for Dark Knight that was released this holiday.  But I have been pretty good at keeping that dog leashed.
