Well I'm off to the memorabilia show tomorrow with my mate Kell. We go every year and spend some well earned cash. This year, well Sunday actually is the 45th Anniversary of Doctor Who and there is some guests turning up. Here is a link to who will be there.

Plus stall after stall of geeky things to buy. I have my eye on some comics and you normally get good deals on DVD's posters and collectibles.
Will post a report on Saturday night or Sunday morning and hopefully some photo's if we get the chance. I will of course be wearing my Treks in Sci Fi T-Shirt with pride.

Odd that they'd hold this 'in the North' isn't it? ,)

Have a good time...I'm not jealous...much!

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Ok well back from our trip to the Memorabilia show (up North ;) ) and we had a great time. I did (as suggested by the mighty Tim) a report via my recorder on my mobile but alas when played back all you can hear is background noise. Anyway we arrived at around 11.15 and i took some photo's of various people dressed up for our (and their) amusement (see below), we grabbed our tickets and ventured in. It was rammed with people so we decided to go in the opposite direction and go and see who was signed merchandise. Well we saw William Moseley from The Narnia films, Warwick Davis from The Star Wars/ Potter films, Jeremy Bulloch who is Boba Fett, Lindsay Wagner who looked stunning considering her age and Julian Glover how was in Dr Who and Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. We didn't bother to go and meet anyone because they were charging the usual £20 for an autograph and i wanted to spend my money on goodies.
The place was packed with stall after stall with trading cards, figures, models, books, comics, annuals, posters, t-shirts and collectibles. It is mainly dominated by Star Wars items which do get a bit repetitive if i am honest but every now and again you see some gems like some early Trek figures and i saw a great set of ST Motion Picture figures in their original packing. I ended up buying a 1:18 scale General Lee model, The Indiana Jones book on all 4 films (the one Rico reviewed) a book on Patrick Mcgoohan and we got a free DVD set called City of Villains.
Anyway myself and my mate Kelly had a great time, here are a few photo's.

These are great pics, Meds! My personal favorites are the one of the TARDIS (of course) and Rocketman (a very blurry, yet memorable part of my childhood).

Feathers

The TARDIS is good...but some guy's got in the way of it ;)
