For the second year in a row, "Battlestar Galactica" has won for television's best special effects from the Emmy awards.

The team of Gary Hutzel, Michael Gibson, David Takemura, Doug Drexler, Kyle Toucher, Sean Jackson, Pierre Drolet, Aurore De Blois and Derek Ledbetter won for their work in the "Battlestar Galactica" episode "He That Believeth In Me," the fourth season premiere on SciFi Channel.

However, that wasn't the only award "Battlestar" walked away with. The fourth featurette of the telemovie "Razor," which consisted of scenes that were edited out of the final cut of the direct-to-DVD film starring Michelle Forbes, won for Outstanding Special Class -- Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Programs. Those responsible for that featurette were executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick as well as supervising producer Harvey Frand.

Also winning Emmys during the technical awards portion of the show were "Tin Man" on SciFi Channel for makeup in a miniseries or movie, "Pushing Daisies" on ABC for picture editing on a comedy series as well as music composition for a series, "Lost" on ABC for sound mixing for a comedy or drama series, and "Smallville" on The CW for sound editing for a series.

For "Tin Man," the makeup team consisted of Lisa Love and Rebecca Lee. For "Pushing Daisies," Stuart Bass took the editing award while Jim Dooley was the composer.

The "Lost" sound mixing team consisted of Robert Anderson, Frank Morrone and Scott Weber, while the "Smallville" crew honored included Michael E. Lawshe, Norval "Charlie" Crutcher III, Jessica Dickson, Timothy Cleveland, Marc Meyer, Paul J. Diller, Albert Gomez, Casey Crabtree, Michael Crabtree and Chris McGeary.

The major categories for the Emmys will be awarded Sept. 21 on ABC.
