OK I'll admit it, I was just curious when I heard about the 2005 remastered release of The Wizard of Oz.

The Wizard of Oz (Three-Disc Collector's Edition) arrived and it's like seeing the movie for the first time.
No wonder the flying monkeys scared the bejeezus out of me when I was a tyke!

"Brand-new to the 2005 edition is a sharp restoration using Warner's Ultra Resolution process and an accompanying featurette on how it's done. The technicians also discuss how the sound was remixed, though that would have been more effective had it included surround-sound demonstrations (the featurette is in 2.0).

Includes:
An All-New Wizard of Oz With State of The Art Ultra-Resolution Picture Quality and Over 10 Hours of Bonus Extras."

No kidding and no shame there either.  That sounds awesome.  The Wizard of O is one of my favorite movies of all time.
I think it was Socrates who spoke the immortal words:  I drank WHAT?

I'm with everyone.. sounds great.. I love that movie. And yes you don't lose man points.. I think you gain man points for admitting your love of Oz. :)

A knowledge and appreciation of classic movies only increases manliness quotient. Men who say otherwise are mere poseurs.

....I also hear Dave is a big Barbara Streisand fan...

Rico

One of my all time favorites.  How many man points for having a pair of replica Ruby Slippers?

Judy Garland's size:  5 1/2,  Rico's size:  13.

Besides Kenny, you know how well I take care of my collectibles!

My mom bought me a pair that I plan to make my future children wear... they're too small for me. :) But I do love them. I hate Barbie Dolls, and all they represent but my little sister bought me a Dorothy  Barbie with a little Todo too. The only Barbie I've ever owned. LOL.  I love it.
