I love listening to your podcasts Rico. When I'm doing stuff on my comp or at my desk, I tune in and let myself flow on the ride of Treks in Sci-Fi.

Awesome, Awesome

This was probably my favorite "just for fun" episode of any of the new Star Trek series. It was great to watch and Rico, you did a great job on the podcast for it.

Just one point to pick up on here, Rico.

You said in the Podcast that this was the 30th Anniversary episode of DS9 (which I believe to be true) but you also said that no other Trek series was running at the time.

Yoyager was in season 3 at that time of course and they also had a 30th Anniversary episode. 'Flashback' was what I'd call a 'Tuvok's mind' story and effectively put him back 80 years in time on the bridge of the Excelsior where he used to serve. They also found a way to have Janeway interjecting where appropriate.

They had George Takei back as Captain Sulu and Grace Lee Whitney as Yeoman now Commander Rand in there too.

I remeber it as a good episode but haven't seen it in years.

Sorry if I stated that incorrectly. Both this Tribbles show and "Flashback" aired in the fall of 1996 (during the 30th anniversary time period). Interestingly enough I also did a much later podcast on the Voyager "Flashback" episode.
