:superman of course he needs to learn how to fly first. I have no idea why he hasn't learned to fly yet. In Superman mythos he learned to fly when he was younger. All he can do now is able to run really fast and jump high but no flying yet. His cousin Kara aka Supergirl can fly so why can't he ?
Genius by birth, Slacker by choice.

It depends on the mythos that you are reading. Pre crisis he was superboy long before this time. Post crisis, he didn't develop his powers until well into adulthood.

This has recently changed with the addition of other stories of his past and taken some things from the smallville stories.

With the introduction of his foster son, it shows that kid kryptonians can use their powers in their childhood.

We still don't know how much changed after 52 but because of all of the changes with Superman's history over his existence, nothing is really true for superman. Anything can work because it probably has in one story or another.

I didnt watch season seven.. only a few episodes... Guess its time to hit the good old "source" and get the episodes. Had no idea Lionel died... He was the best actor on the show. I loved him...

And I read somewhere about someone saying Lana has the acting talents of a peice of wood. I couldnt agree more LOL :D

There are going to be a lot of cast changes for the next season - which most like will be it's last.  I've really enjoyed the series overall but I think it's time for Clark to fly and become the Man of Steel!  I sure hope they give him one shot in the costume flying off in the last episode.

Oh now that would be so sweet to see him in costume. I still think he would have made an ideal superman for the films.

Rico just have to say I loved the props you had! That drove me nuts!

Heres my take for the last episode of Smallville:

Something happens... and have a closeup of his chest as he rips open his shirt... to reveal the "S"

Then have him streak by a building going to save the day.. and low and behold we get a cameo of lex luthor... who drops his cell phone.
