Great episode Rico. I was with Kas initially, Tuvix creeped me out and I didn't trust him. To me it was the way he spoke... though  I started to like him more as the episode progressed. I thought his death was very sad. No goodbyes... just "OK, we want Tuvok and Nelix back, stop whining and sit on the table." I know that Janeway had to do what she had to do, but to me she was a bit uncaring. Even though there were scenes where she "struggled" with the decision, she still seemed very cold in the end.

I've always found Janeway inconsistent when it comes to this, some episodes she's the crew's mom other episodes she's very cold.

I think that's a bit intentional.  A captain has to make some tough choices at times.  I also think she smoothed out over the seasons of Voyager.

backtracked and listened to this episode today.(June 13, 2008 because i could) the choice made by Janeway was a rough one.  I have never watched this episode but sounded like one of those 'command decisions' that nobody wants. The doctor backed away from the morality of it and he's just a hologram.  Pulling on our heart strings(while i was at work) Tuvix made all of us pay the emotional price. Deep down i thought the captain made a good decision, but at the end of the show--leaves you thinking about it. Rick great song also liking your bed music in the ready room podcast.
