Unbelievable and so sad gang.  I've always liked his work and was so looking forward to him as the Joker.  I'm still shocked.  It's looking like drugs.  Frakking drugs!!

Ripley: Ash. Any suggestions from you or Mother?
Ash: No, we're still collating.
Ripley: [Laughing in disbelief] You're what? You're still collating? I find that hard to believe.

Wow, that is terrible news, I to enjoyed his movies. Drugs are such an evil thing, and I feel bad for people whos lives are destroyed because of it.

Not to sound tacky, but does anyone know if all the filming was finished on the Dark Knight?  I am also looking forward to that pic, as I'm sure all of us are here, and hope his untimely death/suicide doesn't derail that picture.

I am in total shock!  I am gonna reserve judgement until they rule on whether it was accidental (they were reportedly sleeping pills) or suicide or what.....sad nonetheless.

Yes, Foxnews is reporting it was totally done but they are going to put the adc\vertising on hold so the fellow actors do not have to answer questions.

Although I am not very familiar with all his work and having never seen his breakout performance in Brokeback Mountain, I never knew a lot about him. I liked him in The Patriot and was looking forward to his role as the Joker. Very sad.

Nathan is pretty shaken up over it, he was one of his favorite actors.

It really sucks to hear this about such a talented and loved guy.

It is a shame and also a good lesson to be learned for both Steve and Nate regarding excess in life and the consequences. Reasonable people don't accidentally end their lives.
