I was just watching a story on CNBC discussing the Canadian film production economy and the effects of the Screenwritters Guild strike is having locally in Vancouver. They mentioned production on BSG has ground to a halt.  :hate

As much as I hate that shows I love will be effected by the strike, I have to stand by the writers on this one.  Without them there would be no great sci-fi shows and they just want what everyone else is getting.

Oh, I agree that they have every right to collective bargaining, I'm just bumbed as well that the series will be delayed.

Hey, my 700th post!!!

Yeah I expected this.. I thought I read they finished the first 10 episodes along with the 2 hour movie.  So at least will get some new BSG next year.

BTW Bryan congrats on 700

Are we sure they will show the episodes they have done next year?  I'm guessing they will, but who knows.  Time to join the Screenwriter's Guild of Canada.

Geekyfanboy

I hope they show them... I heard they were going to split the season 10 and 10 so if they got the full 10 done then there should be a proper conclusion/cliffhanger. But who really knows.. will just have to wait and see.

That will be to bad if we do not get BSG next year. Part of me was hoping that they would move it to NBC to fill in for other shows not being aired, as it would be better chance for me to see it in HD as currently the Channel that airs in Canada is not. I hope we get to see the 10 epsiodes this season at least.
