Chat feature?

Is the chat feature going to be reactivated?  or are we just going to leave it dead?  I'm just curious.  Idk if we used it that much but i would like to see it back.

Might I suggest a site that we use at the Golden Age of Hollywood message board? It's a FREE chat and is very functional and has very good administration features. No advertising either. It run via Java. The one drawback is that one of the Admins or moderators have to log in at least once a month to keep it registered. Otherwise, once the registration expires whoever logs in next can take over as the Admin by registering the site and their handle. But, for a free chat room it's awesome! You can name the room treks-in-sci-fi or whatever you want. Here is the link:
