Chuck - slight spoilers

Got this from the Ask Ausiello Report.... sounds promising.

Ausiello: I want to love Chuck. Really, I do. But the first two setup-heavy episodes left me a little unsatisfied. The good news? I've seen next Monday's episode and now I love Chuck, too! It's the best episode by far, which is great news because it revolves around Chuck's first official mission and is essentially the template for the show. In addition to being funny, romantic and suspenseful, it features Zachary Levi doing the tango with the last person you'd ever expect (hint: GLAAD will be, um, glad).

Chuck Spies Full-Season Pickup

NBC has ordered a full season of its freshman spy series Chuck, giving a green light to the final nine episodes of the first season, Variety reported.

The order was among the first for the network, which is currently seeing the effects of the ongoing writers' strike.

Chuck, starring Zachary Levi as a big-box-store computer geek who's accidentally implanted with government secrets, has posted the best numbers among all of NBC's new shows. To date, Chuck has averaged a 3.4 rating/9 share among adults 18-49. The show also stars Adam Baldwin, Yvonne Strahovski, Joshua Gomez and Sarah Lancaster.

There's no word yet on orders for NBC's other freshman SF series, Bionic Woman and Journeyman. Chuck airs Mondays at 8 p.m. (NBC is owned by NBC Universal, which also owns SCIFI.COM.)

Happy about that, but don't they need writers and scripts??

Yeah I didn't quite understand that either Rico.. I think the pick up is good news. If the writer strikes ends soon will see more Chuck if not I think this proves that it will be back for a second season.
