This weekend's show is going to cover the TNG episode "The Big Goodbye."  This was the 1st season show where Picard, Data and Dr. Crusher end up trapped on the holodeck.  I always thought this was a fun episode.  I'll also have collectible review and announce the contest winner.  If you'd like to send in an audio comment about this episode or anything, send it to the voicemail line at 206-88TREKS or just email me a comment at treksf@gmail.com

Is this the episode that the holodeck characters in "First Contact" are based on....it's a "Dix detective novel" thing?

Yep.  Dixon Hill is Picard.
