Kubrick 2001 explained

When was the last time you dusted off  this old classic for another viewing?

Killer computers in outspace are still pretty cool but at the end I've always been a little puzzled about the meaning of the whole thing.

After viewing this site I can now honestly say "Oh-yeah I knew that" ;)

Most of the stuff on the site is taken from the book. Granted, 2001 is a very hard movie to understand, but if more people read the book, a lot of things would be better understood.

However, this site is great to help people see what they missed when watching the movie.
