Got a midweek cast up for all you "Pod People" out there.  I talk a little Sci-Fi, a little collectibles, and so forth.  Only about a half hour, but it was fun!   :metallica:

Thanks!  I have a few other ideas for this midweek show.  I was really tired tonight but wanted to get a show out.

Cool.  Yeah, I'm going to try to do them for the next few weeks.  I'll try a few new things each week and see what I like.

Darth Gaos

Well I will just have to download that right now

One of the reasons the new box sets for The Twilight Zone are so expensive (as mentioned in this podcast) is because the restoration process was relatively expensive.  The episodes included in those box sets aren't just DVD quality, they are hi-def quality.  Fortunately, the folks at Image Entertainment knew they'd be passing on the restoration costs, so they crammed as much extra value into the sets in the form of special features.  The audio commentaries and "radio" episodes are okay, but the real gems are the isolated scores and, from the Season 1 set, Rod Serling's college lectures.  I cannot recommend these sets enough, even with their somewhat high price tags.

If only Image could snag the right's to Night Gallery.

Rico

Thanks for the info De.  When you say Hi-Def, what resolution do you mean?  I love the Twilight Zone and will most likely get these sets.  I hear there is a complete box set out now of all of them that goes for $400 - 500 or so I think.
