Story Synopsis (too much to read? get the basics here)

Hey all. Marauders have attacked the outpost of Altair III. They have killed the civilians and during the investigation (by away teams from the Tiberius and a Klingon vessel) the Doctor and Ensign Manrique (Security) were abducted.

Snippet of the current story pg 14 Reply #204 :

The anonymous aggressors provided cover for two of their own as they grabbed the paralyzed Starfleet Officers and hauled them into a near by corridor. With their hostages in tow, the shadowy assailants disappeared within the multitude of dark passageways inside the immense complex. In an instant, they transported off the surface of Altair III, leaving the winded away teams behind in frustration.

As I've mentioned before, if you don't want to play your own character or if you've been interested but don't know that you want to invest the time to create a character, then take a test drive and create an NPC (Non player character). They're noncommittal. You can be a red shirt Tiberius crew member, a Klingon Warrior from the ship that is helping the Tiberius or one of the Marauders (currently unnamed species).

If you are an RPG member and can't play right now, or don't have the time PLEASE LET US KNOW so that we don't continue to pitch to your character. A lot of folks are AWOL. Its absolutely understandable, if you don't have the time right now. We understand and don't blame you if you can't participate, but please let us know.

If you can't play right now we can either put your character in stasis, until you can, or off your character and give your position on the ship to another player if you don't want to return. Make a new post in the OOC thread to fill us in.

Synopsis:

Acamarian Gatherers’, from the TNG episode "The Vengeance Factor", have attacked several civilian settlements. Their latest victim was the civilian Federation Outpost on Altair IIIâ€"every planet in the Federation had settlers living there.

The Tiberius and the Klingon Battle Cruiser, SheshLa, were the closest vessels to Altair III. Both were sent to investigate. Each ship transported an away team to survey the damage. They discovered that entire population was dead and several of the aggressors were still on the surface.

As the doctor and Ensign Manrique  searched for survivors, the last remaining Acamarian Gathers' managed to stun the two Federation Officers and transport back to their ship with their hostages.

While captive aboard the Acamarian ship, the doctor has been forced to attend to the wounded marauders. The Acamarian vessel, so far, been successful in escaping from the Tiberius and the Battle Cruiser SheshLa. The Gather ship is in route to a sector where they can sell their stolen goods, recruit mercenaries and lay low.

Its just a place to start without reading the entire RPG thread. When I say "Go to page 14 of the RPG and scroll to the post that is labeled Reply #___ "
I'm giving you the location of a post where the most important story info exists. Stuff you'll need to know if you are going to post in the story. Here's a picture of where you can find the Reply #. It maybe hard to find if you've never noticed it before.

I don't think anyone is following this thread. I figured that out a while back and stopped updating it. I'm going to post this suggestion instead. I have found that the "Notify" button at the top of a thread to be quite useful. If someone posts a new addtion to the RPG, an email will be sent to you letting you know.
