I took some pictures at the annual Motor City Comic Con over this past weekend.  Had a good time and got some nice shots.  They can be found on my Flickr account here:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/treksf/sets/72157600236680278/detail/

Here's an example....

Cool Pictures, thanks for sharing. Dominic and Conner talk looks like it was a fun time, and both look like they are super great guys, I hope I get a chance someday to meet them. Looks like you had a great time.

I think that black car is from Men In Black, isn't it? And the leather girl is a female Cobra Commander (or someone from Cobra, anyway.) Nice pics.

I enjoyed the pictures Rico, my wife smacked me when I clicked on the buff guy and the two slave girls though!  :)

I would love to live somewhere a convention is close to.  I have never been to one.  Seattle has had some, but I haven't been able to attend.  I will have to keep my eyes peeled.  I think it would be fun to go to one.  The trick is to get in early on the tickets, all of them I have been interested in either seel out too quickly or are to far away.

Fun fun!

Hey Moyer... you should come down to San Diego Comic con... I can get you in for free or at most $25 bucks for all four days.  We already have a hotel booked and splitting the cost between us is fairly cheap. San Diego would be the ultimate con experience.

And just to keep this on topic... loved the pictures Rico... can't believe you get home from a long trip and then go to the Con a day later :) talk about a dedicated geek.

I hope to attend Comic Con in SD next summer.

If people are interested, I live in SD, and would love to put together a meet up or something for the Con. Maybe next year, we can plan on a big group?

And, my wife would have clicked on the slave girls, lol.

Does anyone know if there's a con in Indy this year around Thanksgiving?

Yeah - tell me about it Kenny.  It was a bit tiring, but I really didn't want my trip to stop me from going to the con.  I was going to wait and go on Sunday, but there was more going on Saturday that I wanted to see.  I'd love to make it to Comic Con some year.  I definitely have the frequent flyer miles!   ;)

Here's a pic of the program guide from this con:
