Unfortunately, I'm just not very excited by this film. I did not really enjoy the first one, and the things I've been hearing about this one (beyond the trailers, that is) makes me pretty leery.

But hey, I like lots of stuff no one else does, so who am I to judge.

The funny thing is that my wife Lynn  liked the first film and I think that's because she isn't a big sci-fi geek and comic fan like me.  The first film was "just ok" I thought but this one looks pretty exciting!

I think the first film had to explain how they got their powers and how the world reacts to them and how they react to each other. The next film is going to be nothing but action/adventure.. they don't have to set up the characters in this one.

I am really looking forward to this Movie, I felt the first one was ok, but from these trailers, this ones looks like it is going to have a lot of action.

I think this movie will be pretty good.  I enjoyed the first one, but I was never a Fantastic 4 reader myself.  One thing though, I thought Laurence Fishburne was going to voice the Silver SUrfer.  That did not sound like him in the trailer.  Is his voice going to be a post-production thing?
