New Star Trek TNG Comic Books

I finally picked up both of these. I was going to order online, as I dont care for any of the Comicbook Stores in my city, but well on Holiday, found a comic book store. I liked the second one much better. I found the Disco sub story really strange, but did not detract much from the Story. I agree that the Artwork is not that great, wish that would improve to be honest. Will get the remainder of the series so I have a complete collection. Would have hoped for a long running story arc instead of one offs.

Has the third one come out yet?? I thought there was one out every month but I didn't see one for March!! Did I miss it??

I just answered my own question.. just read that #3 will be out on Wednesday April 4th.

#2 came out in very early March (maybe late Feb.) I think Kenny. Comics don't always hit exactly each month depending on how the weeks run, shipping, etc. This Trek comic is a smaller publisher as well so the schedule might not be perfect. Looking forward to picking up issue #3 tomorrow.

I got my comic in the mail today and popped it open for a great read.

I think this is my favorite one so far out of the three. I liked the artwork a little better than last time, but even more than that it really reminded me of the TV show. I could hear the voices and even the music as I read through it. I am not really into comics, but in this case it is the least expensive route to having new Trek in my life. :) I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and like I said before, the latest episode is cool. I really enjoyed Rico's metion of it on the podcast, and since I don't have a comic shop around here, I am ordering it directly from IDW. So I was hoping mine would get here soon, it arrived today and I ordered it on Thursday.

Oh, the bonus was a little teaser for a new Klingon series coming out next month. how cool!

My recommendation... get this series it is great.

Hey, just a reminder that issue number 4 of the new TNG is out today, along with the new Klingon series. I just orderd mine in actual KLINGON! How cool.

I picked them up yesterday. Didn't get the Klingon book in Klingon. Actually I didn't even realize that until I was paying for them and the guy at the counter mentioned they did that with some of them.

Depends on your level of fandom I guess. Not sure they always do these as trades either. The TREK comic has been getting better too since issue one. I like them.

Well, how many of you got issue #5? It's a Wesley episode! And in my opinion, a good one.

I enjoyed this Comic book. The artwork on the first page was dull, but then it was great the rest of the way through.

Did you enjoy the story?

Oh, I also picked up the 2nd issue of the Klingon one, I haven't got a chance to read it yet.

Fun stuff.
