I want to put Peter Parker on Trial in my physics class.

Does ANYone have a copy of Amazing Spiderman #121 that would be willing to scan the couple of pages of the "death" so I can have it for "evidence"?

I (and my kids) would forever be in your debt.

Tease.

It's okay we're makikng do with what I can get of wikipedia and such, and I MIGHT have a coworker's husband able to come to my rescue, though I question if I'll see a $150 comic in my hands at a copy machine or not....

Still it's making for a fun class activity

I might be able to get something via email to you as well, but it will take me a day or two.

If you can that would be great.

We enpanneled a jury yesterday and today the kids are getting more of their "prep work" to work on tonight.  Some kids are playing the roles of expert witnesses so I'm assigning to them to actually go out and research their own testimony.  The Jury has a bit of a harder time as they'll be working more at the end of the activity writing up their personal belief about the trial.

Of course little do they know that we'll be watching a video while they're in "deliberations" at the end.  I'm actually going to send them out and make them come to a concesus.  :)

EDIT:  Hey, is there a lawyer in the house?  I really could some legal advice to be sure I don't screw this up.

I found a digital version online.  You can download it here from my site:  http://www.treksf.com/misc/Amazing Spider-Man v1 121.cbz

You will need a Comic Book Reader viewer to show the comic.  You can then print out or screen capture what pages you need.  I use a program called CDisplay.  Here's a link to a reader if you need it:  http://www.geocities.com/davidayton/CDisplay

Woo HOO!!

Thanks you guys!  I really appreciate this (and my students who have to mount Spidy's Defense do too!)

I'll keep you posted as to how it goes.
