Dan Radcliffe Back for Last Two Harry Potter Films

DanRadcliffe.co.uk has confirmed that Daniel Radcliffe has signed for the last two "Harry Potter" films, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

I am pleased to inform you that it has been confirmed for us by Dan's Publicist that Dan has, in fact, signed on for the last two Harry Potter films. Dan will begin filming in September on Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. He has also signed on to return and reprise his role as Harry in the very last film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. This will "mark a place" in history for Dan and fulfill his wishes as he stated more than three years ago that he would like to portray "Harry" in all of the films.

The fifth film, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, opens in conventional theaters and IMAX on July 13. "Half-Blood Prince" is scheduled for a November 21, 2008 release.

I love the Harry Potter audiobooks  :love  and I like the movies but isn't he getting a little old? He has been a wonderful Harry and I cannot imagine anyone taking his place. All the kids have been great in the films but they are getting a little long in the tooth I think.

not really... the kids in the books are getting older as well. Dan will be 20 when he does the last film and Harry Potter will be 17.. not a huge age difference.

Not huge at all!  Teenagers in film are rarely played by true teens.  Heck, Olivia Newton John was 30 when she played Sandy in Grease!  LOL!
