Hi guys. I am finally going to buy myself a Nintendo DS fairly soon and will also get the browser for it. I realise it won't be completly quick for most websites, but does anyone on the forums use it for browsing this site? It would mean much more time on here for me. Also, can anyone recommend a good American internet shop I can buy from? These things cost a fortune over here. About £100 and thats without games, games start at £20 but the top titles go for £30. Bloody extortionate. Thanks guys.

I have a DS Lite and didn't even know you could browse the web with it?  DOH!

Trekkygeek

Well really Rico. I have to revoke your geek card man. ;D
Over here, there is an Opera browser available for it. When I asked about the website being able to be viewed, I actually meant the Forums only. I can of course check out the site on my desktop. I'm sure you can get the browser over there.

Yeah they're selling a browser for the DS over the pond. I don't think it's out for us North Americans, though. So I haven't gotten it yet.

But then again, you can always install Linux on it, then you can even use it as an MP3.  :P ;D

Sounds like something we might not have here - yet.  I can't even imagine trying to view a web site on such a tiny screen.  My son has a Sony PSP and that was such a pain to use to view web pages - not to mention the lack of a keyboard.

I scan forums on my smart phone once in a while.

Most portable devices format them so they are easy to read, but you have to scroll down....a lot.
Call me cocky, but if there's an alien I can't kill, I haven't met him and killed him yet.

The Opera browser for the DS gets to America next month. So far people seems to find it useful.

I read it's going to be $30 bucks. Looks like I could get it soon.

Theres some homebrew out there for the techie minded that can turn your DS or DS lite into a functioning IPOD with all the features of the Ipod.  Pretty neat but I cant imagine going to the trouble myself.
