Chris & Bryan get together to talk "Star Wars" expanded universe (or EU).  They cover a lot of ground in this cool show.  This is actually podcast #465 (the recently released Austin Comic Con vidcast is 464) - just so you know. Enjoy the show and thanks guys for covering such a big topic!

Started listening today, and really enjoying this cast - thanks guys.  I had no idea - and haven't read any of the EU books.

I listened to the show and loved it. The only EU books I read was the Thrawn books. I tried a New Jedi Order but was completely lost. I think I might try some of the standalones that I can Kindle. All of these guest casts are so info heavy I felt like I need cliff notes at the end.  :starwars:

Yeah, we just wanted to try and give an overview of the main EU series, it's a lot of info!

ChrisMC

Maybe with casts like this there should be a recommended reading list! But starting with Timothy Zahn's "Heir to the Empire" is still the best point to begin.

Did anyone ever make a decent paper & dice based Role Playing game in the EU?

The West End Games RPG had EU modules, not sure if they make it anymore though.
