FINALLY, have my vidcast done celebrating my trip to Austin last weekend with the ladies of Anomaly. Of course, everyone already knows we all had a blast meeting up, costuming, taking a ton of pics, and just having a great time as geeks! I really have to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome. Jen, Angela, Jim, the other Jen, Kasey, Stephanie & Jeff are all great! I already can't wait to do it again next October! I decided to post the video in HD up on Vimeo instead of trying hard to compress it down and make you all download huge files. I like this way better with vidcasts. I did make a short little intro video too that will be in the feed to direct you to the full video on Vimeo (all the links are below). Anyway, I hope you all really like this video. Spent most of the last two days working on it. So - ENJOY IT! :metallica:

That was SOOOOOOO good. Thank you for all your hard work on the video Rico. How fun. I need to save up my bucks, I want to come do the video and pics for you next October, it will be around my birthday!

Thanks Rick - that means a lot to me since you do a lot of video these days. Took me about two days to put this all together. I hit a few snags along the way and had to work out a few things (like how to get those less than one second, fast animated gif files to work on video), but it was all worth it. I'm much happier to put up a hidef version on Vimeo this way for everyone. I tried a few compression types but the files were still big and it didn't look good. Anyway, I just hope everyone gets a kick out of it and sees what a good time we all had.

P.S. If you and I could both get down together there next year it would be awesome!

Wow what a fantastic video, great work Rico and what a pleasure to not only have a cheeky name check in the titles but also to have Kasey say hi as well. Brilliant, really enjoyed the whole video. Makes me want to come to Austin next year..... hmmmmmm.

Thanks for working so hard on the video Rico, it showed it. Especially like the part where you did a lot of short video shots strung together, looked professional.
