I just picked up Dan Brown's 'Inferno' - his latest Landgon novel.  Haven't started it yet - any one else read/reading it?
Not yet, but I really want that book! I forgot it was coming out. Loved The Last Symbol.

I am reading the novelization of the Batman story No Man's Land by Greg Rucka. It's actually a real great book!

Just finished "The Family Corleone".  It tells the story of Sonny Corleone's (played by James Caan in the original film) initiation into the famous crime family, and the Corleone crime family's rise to power.  I had actually started it about six months ago then took a long break between parts one and two (the book is split that way into two sections).  It wasn't too terrible, kind of fun, but doesn't live up to the legacy created by the original Mario Puzo novel and the film series.

I have gotten through quite a few books/graphic novels lately and I am currently reading Star Trek: The Visual Dictionary and the Graphic Novel Star Wars Crimson Empire. Enjoying both.
Here are some of the graphic novels I have recently read.
Captain America - The Death of Captain America Vol. 2 - 6. It was ok, expected more.
Spiderman/Doctor Octopus - Out of Reach - 8. An all ages book that was better than I expected.
The New Avengers - Vol.2 Secrets and Lies/The Collective - 10. This was a huge book putting 2 graphic novels in one. I really have been enjoying this older series that started before and during the Civil War timeline for Marvel.
Ultimate Comics Spiderman - Vol.2 - 8. Very well done series.
Doctor Who - Agent Provocateur - 8. Fun book with The Doctor and Martha. Published by IDW.
Batman Vol. 2 - The City of Owls - 8.

Just Finished Star Wars "Crimson Empire II: Council of Blood". Very good book and a nice look at a part of the Expanded Universe.
Crimson Empire II - 9.

i have read the comic book, STAR TREK :COUNTDOWN TO DARKNESS.
this should have been a movie, lol it is that good.
i think it kinda bad jj abrams has to do comic books  to flesh out things that he can't put in the movies.but i do get he has to do it. the comic book that came out from the first movie( star trek 2009) called STAR TREK:COUNTDOWN, it blended the TNG with the j.j  movie, i loved both of them

It's a pretty fun read, and there's a nod to the comic in Into Darkness. Adds some nice history to the JJ verse.

Avengers - Season One - 8. Nice story and I really liked the art.
Now reading Star Wars Omnibus: Boba Fett. So far I have really liked the stories but the art style is a little to be desired. Huge book. 494 pages of comic goodness!! Check it out here.

I'm reading Joyland by Stephen King, I'm about halfway through. It's a great read, as usual...just haven't gotten to the 'hook' yet.

I just started to read 'Forrest Gump' - amazing how different the book is from the movie.  Both are very well done.  Glad I saw the movie first though..

Have caught up on some comics and I also finished the graphic novel "Batman: Detective Comics - Vol. 2. Scare Tactics. Worth a read with a focus on a character I didn't know but I don't think he was new. His name is Mr. Toxic. Also alot of Two-Face.
