Agreed. Not a film I've seen but from the way you put it across it sounds just about perfect in the way it comes to a conclusion. That is exactly the sort of ending I enjoy for these sorts of stories.

I just listen to the podcast today.  I saw this movie a long time ago and I really thought it was great.  I have wanted to see it again sometime and I had allready noticed it was on youtube. this is a fave of mine and the whole thing about a supper computer taking over the lives of everone is darn right scary.  I still can't figure out how the security guards carried out the execution of the scientist, did collus have a hold over them. 
I do look forward to the remake.  I wounder how it would be done today since the orignail was a product of the cold war.

Hi all to the forum, I was able to watch Colossus on youtube today.  It had been taken down on the channel posted here on the forum however I found it re-posted today on a youtube channel.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wBhTI2lRi0&list=PL6DCD8CF1A8371073&index=6  I loved watching this movie a second time, its a good geek type movie.  computer nerds would love it.
