Excellent Web Host - the one I use

Hey gang.  I just wanted to mention that the web host I use for everything (hosting the web site, forums, podcasts, etc.) just doubled their normal great package.  You now get 40,000 Meg (40 Gig) storage and 800 gigs monthly bandwidth and much more for only $5.77 a month.  If anyone out there wants to start up a web site or even a podcast you will have trouble finding a better deal or host.  I'm not affiliated with them in anyway, just wanted to pass on the info in case anyone might need a web host.  Check them out here:  http://www.powweb.com/

Rico, do you ever have outages with them?  Since I switched over to the Simple Machines message board, I keep getting an error 28--basically saying I'm out of disk space.  I haven't come anywhere near using my storage or bandwidth, but I am on a shared server.  Ugh...it's very frustrating!  My old board had nearly 2000 members; the new board only has 29 posting right now.  I just wonder what is going to happen when my membership builds back up.  Curse CI Host!!!

No Amy - Powweb has been excellent for me.  I'd say there might be something wrong with your install of SMF.  Try a reinstall or upgrade to the new 1.1.1 version - if you are not running that yet.  I run on a shared server as well and things seem to run fine.  Dedicated servers are out of my price range.
