Home sick, watched Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol. Real fun movie.

Yeah, I really liked that one.  I recently saw "Moonrise Kingdom."  A really quirky, off-beat, sweet coming of age movie.  It's not like much else you've probably seen.  But I enjoyed it a lot.

I actually enjoyed Ghost Protocol more than I thought I would. I hope they make another sequel.

I've been debating seeing Unchained.

While I liked Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown, his last film Inglourious Basterds was just meh.

If I can still find it, I'd like to the wacky double feature project he did with Robert Rodriguez called 'Grindhouse'.

Oh yeah, 'The last movie I watched'...

That would be Overboard w/ Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn

Indeed, you may not enjoy Django then, which is pretty much a thematic sequel to Inglorious Basterds.  Grindhouse was awesome fun.

Ghost Protocol is on Netflix. I was surprised to see it on there. I need to watch 3 then catch Ghost.

Last movie I watched was Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I would give it a rating of 8 almost a 9. I watched the Director's cut on Blu-Ray from Netflix and it looked awesome! Then I finished listening to Rico's podcast on it. More about that on the Podcast page.

Hey, finally saw "Django Unchained."  Really enjoyed it.  I'll type more about it in that thread for the movie.

Saw Silver Linings Playbook last night...wow this was the most moving flick I've seen in a long time.  Such a true to life depiction of mental illness I've never seen in film before, since maybe Shine back in the 90s.  Highly recommended, probably my favorite non-genre film of the year.
