"Justice League" live-action set for Summer 2015!

At least that's what the LA Times is saying, following the win in court over Supes. If this date is true it will be occupying the same summer as Avengers 2, which in my opinion may be the wrong move, I think all alone at X-mas would be better for them to avoid Superhero fatigue. It's also stated that the Batman reboot will follow the JL movie instead of preceding it, so the new movie-verse Batman will be introduced in the JL movie. It doesn't look as though they are going to follow the Marvel mode with many buildup pictures before the big team up. Can't wait to see how it pans out.

The thing that will bother me most about this whole thing is if they have different actors in the solo movies vs. the JL movie.  We know there has to be a new Batman actor at this point, but hopefully if next year's Man of Steel is good they can get Henry Cavill for a JLA movie too.  Heck, I'd even be cool with Ryan Reynolds back as Green Lantern too.

A little more on this at the link below.  If both of these films do come out in 2015, they should steer very clear of each other on the release date.  Maybe Avengers 2 in May and JLA in July.

They do need to try and keep the same actors from GL and Man of Steel for a Justice League movie. I'll go see it no matter what but to many actors doing one part can get confusing.

According to Drew McWeeny at HitFix he has a source that says Joseph Gordon-Levitt absolutely will be appearing in "Justice League" as the new Batman. I don't know how I feel about this. I was kind of looking forward to a new version of Batman, maybe closer to the Batman of the comics. But, I did love the last 3 movies and I'm interested to see what they do with the character. I just prefer Batman to be Bruce Wayne.

I feel like they have been talking about making a JLA movie for so many years.. let' hope this is actually going to happen.

It would be a big mistake, in my opinion, to have a non Bruce Wayne Batman involved in the Justice League.  I'd be fine with Levitt as Bruce Wayne, but to extend the Nolan continuity with a new Batman taking over the cowl wouldn't feel right to me and many people I think.  A bad way to kick off a potential franchise.  They should either get Christian Bale again, or abandon the Nolan universe entirely.

I don't mind them using Gordon-Levitt's character from the Dark Knight Rises in a Justice League movie. And I might be in the minority but use Ryan Reynolds too. If they don't use Reynolds as Green Lantern I would rather see John Stewart in the movie.
