I'm a pretty dedicated gamer, (X-Box and Iphone) and my main gaming is done on teh X-Box but i do love my games on my iphone. Angry Birds is a stable game, I still play it, i go back and re-do levels. Catapult King is another winner and I quite like the flick games. Although I am pretty vocal on my boredom of Star Wars (stupid vodaphone adverts etc lol) I have to say I really do Like the look of the Star wars Angry Birds game. And with Dan giving athumbs up I think i'm going to have to spend some money and have a go. :)

it's hilarious. The Han bird is a crack up, and Luke bird... so fun!

Love that the Han bird can fire his blaster and Luke cuts things up with his lightsaber! It's done well and a great refresh to the Angry Birds formula.

It's more fun than it deserves to be and for .99 it's a bargain. I can't get Jack off my phone now.

Buying it now!  Happy Birthday to me!

Bryancd

I just bought it as well for te iPad and phone!

Coda

I love it.  I'm only up to Obi Wan Kenobi and using the Force, though, but it's FUN!  I played that first level like 5 times just to fool around with the Force.

Jobydrone

might have to get this one for my new iPhone 5!!!

I have to say I really like this, the little Star Wars touches with the sound effects and the panels add to the game. The different abilities that the birds have are great as well. I like the Lightsabers and Hans Blaster, still trying to get a hold of the force with Obi-Wan.

Yup, I got it and flying through it. Damn you Angry Birds...

Oh dear. I really don't want to like his (angry birds bores me) but it sounds like it might be just the switch around the game needs to make it interesting.

I have a bad feeling about this... like I'm going to have to go and buy it.

Edit: Oh dear, lots of In App purchases. Not so interested now.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

You know I'm eating my words. This game is actually pretty awesome! :)

Next we need to Tim to dine upon his criticism! ;)

I'm refusing to buy it because it's a stupidly expensive app.

You have to buy separate app versions for iPhone and iPad. This practice needs to stop and I wish Apple would force it to stop.
Ads are in the paid-for version (not cool)
Multiple unnecessary in-app purchases. Might be a freemium system in there too but I can't tell without buying the apps. But I saw it in Angry Birds Space and it wouldn't surprise me to see it in here.

I don't blame Rovio for extracting as much cash as they can out of the Star Wars brand. Doesn't mean I have to support it though.

There you go, dine away ;).

I see your point on the multiple version thing Tim - which is why I simply only buy the iPad version.

Which is why this one only costs $2.99. You don't HAVE to pay for all the in-app things you know. (there, dessert is served :) )

Expensive app??? Really at .69p, you can just about buy a chocolate bar for that. I've done two levels, not paid any more.
