Finished Green Arrow - Into the Woods - 8. I think I like the old Green Arrow better than the New 52 version.
I also found some cool books. I was checking out the book sale room at the Library and found Watchman and a like new Challengers of the Unknown Showcase Presents from DC. It has over 500 pages of comics in black and white. And they were each only 25 cents!
I also found a book I have been looking for my collection at The Dollar Store. The View From The Bridge by Nicholas Meyer.
I was very happy to find it!
Check out the pics.

unbelievable! I'm heading over to the dollar store tomorrow.

Snagged some good stuff there!
I was pretty stoked when I found them. I got $62 worth of books for $2!!! And I almost didn't go to the book section at the Dollar Store! I won't even think about skipping it again.
davekill, did you find one of those books?

Just read the latest Voyager Book and WOW! Not something I expected and kinda of sad in places, but a great ride.
Didn't Janeway die in a recent book?  did they bring her back yet?

She died a few years ago. It was a fixed point it time that couldn't be altered. That's addressed this new book.
My copy of the new Voyager book just arrived. I can't wait. I have really enjoyed Kirsten Beyer's VOY novels. Great stuff!

Went to a new store today that sells used stuff and comics. I have been talking to the guy a few times because he comes to the store I work at. I knew he was going to have comics so I wanted to go. He only had about 7 boxes out today but I did end up buying all 3 Hunger Games books for $10!!!! The 2nd and 3rd being in hardback!! I already had the 1st one so I'll just sell the extra copy. I have been falling into some good deals lately!!

Going to try and start the Hunger Games series soon but still reading some graphic novels and I did read a book about Sandy Koufax who was a pitcher for the Dodgers teams in the 50's and 60's. Good book.
Sandy Koufax - 8.
Ant-Man - Season One - 8. Another good one from the Season One books.
Batman and Robin - Vol. 1 Born to Kill - 8. From the 1st few issues of the new 52 series. Of course being Batman it was a little dark. And Damien is in need of some professional help! There was a part near the end that was quite gruesome for himm being only 10 years old! I still enjoyed the story but I think that was a little over the top.
It was when Damien stuck his fingers in Morgan's head. I understand that he's a trained assassin and Bruce is trying to help him but that was just gross.
Re-reading Jurassic Park and then the Lost World, maybe a couple more Michael Crichton books after those too, I enjoyed Sphere and some of his other earlier books. I miss that guy.

I just read Michael Chrichton's Airframe a month or so ago. Not sci fi but if you find forensic investigation and aviation cool, I highly recommend it. I love his books.

Finished up "11/22/63" and really enjoyed it.  Started the "Darth Plagueis" book now.  Having trouble getting into it so far.

Bryancd

I loved Darth Plagueis, but it does take a while and it's written in an odd way which can be a bit of a challenge. Worth the effort, though.

Brought and finished the new star gate Atlantis book last night.
