The most anticipated crossover event ever!!
Brand new series started today and will run for 8 issues. So this will run till December. My guy at the comic shop held one for me and he had cover B for me which I thought was pretty cool. So 2 Trek comics today!! WOO HOO!! There are 6 diiferent covers for this issue and I think the coolest one was of the Doctor sitting in the Captains chair on the Enterprise D. Amy & her husband are standing on the upper level behind Worf's console. I wouldn't mind trying to find that cover somewhere. The art style is a little odd to me but the story will probably be awesome. I won't wait to read the whole series when it finishes in Dec. I'll read this one very soon. And probably reread it all again in Dec. Rico's Trek pic of the day is cover RIA which is the wrap around photo cover.
Written by Scott and David Tipton with Tony Lee.
Art by J.K. Woodward.
Lettering by Shawn Lee and Robbie Robbins.
Edited by Denton J. Tipton.
Scott and David Tipton have written other Trek stories for IDW.
Check out the pic!

Never been a big fan of crossovers between brand franchises. I have yet to read one that was actually any good. Crossovers within franchises is a different matter though (eg. DS9 and TNG).

I really enjoyed this first issue. Like I posted earlier though not really into the art style of this. Give it a try, Kevin.

Just read issue one and really enjoyed it a lot.  Story is off to a great start and unlike Will I thought the art was terrific.  It's done in a more painted style that really works.  Looking forward to issue 2.

Hey, if you missed the 1st issue of this series they put out a 2nd printing yesterday! Grab one if you can. This will be a great series!

I really enjoyed the first issue, I really like the art work as well. I quite like that style of panel drawing, cant wait for issue 2.

I looked on ebay to see what the other covers for issue #1 were going for. WOW! The cover with the Doctor and his 2 companions on the bridge was going for about $40 or more! And some of them higher than that. Looks like I will be keeping my cover B issue.

LOL I never sell my comics and i've got to the stage now where i dont buy all the covers, i find its a trap that can cost you a bit.
Will I have the next two issues on order all ready have you got yours ordered?

WillEagle

I have them on the pull list at my comic shop! Can't wait for the next issue next week.

You would enjoy it! I won't be getting the 2nd one for a few more days with the storm after effects. But I will be getting it as soon as I can.

Just read issue two, loved it. The story is engrossing, the drawings are spot on and it has captured the feel of both TNG and Dr Who. I need issue 3 and i need it now.
