Here's a cool image comparing the scale of retired, in-use and currently in development spacecraft/stations. Didn't realize the shuttle was so large! The ISS has grown to a pretty good size as well.

I just saw this info graphic on the web today.  I have all ready re-tweeted it on twitter and posted om my goggle+ page.  It is interesting how the spacecrafts stack up.  you will notice how the 60's spacecrafts like mercury capsule is like a dot on the map compared to the enterprise.  While the ISS can just about fill the saucer section of the ship.
I am going with the best information that I have.

Right here's the "fun" version :)

I notice the Enterprise is properly scaled more like the TOS/movie ship as opposed to JJ's mega-prise we were forced to accept.. ;)

I actually thought it was interesting he used the movie ship as opposed to the TOS or refit versions.

I'm just happy they got the size right. :)

I was wondering where the Enterprise was on the first image. I should have known there'd be another that included it. These things always include the Enterprise!

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

I also like how, according the the legend, the Enterprise is "in development" :)

You must know it's every aerospace engineers ultimate design aim!

That is cool.  This graphic compelled me to look up the Skylon project, which I didn't know about.  Good stuff.

I actual saw the fun version on the web yesterday on one of the websites I follow.  I didn't notice until today that you posted the graphic that didn't have the enterprise in it.
