Well, our resident Ape-o-philes Rick Moyer and Chris-El cover the "Planet of the Apes" franchise this week for the show.  They cover all the films, behind the scenes stuff, and even the TV series.  So, join them on this fun, ape-tastic podcast!

LOL!! Love the picture!

Although Chris-Ape looks a like he's a little mad at Rick-Ape. Did Rick-Ape get all the best lines? ;)

Looking forward to it!

Hi guys, I downloaded and just listen to the podcast yesterday evening at work.  this was one podcast I could not postpone for latter, I had to listen to it that day.  IN fact it was the first podcats I listen to that day.  I loved the Planet of The Apes movies when I was a kid.  I saw all 5 movies on TV in the 70's and watched the short lived TV show.  The original movies were first shown on CBS as well as the TV series, then they all went into syndication after that.  I never watched the cartoon series, I believe I saw one episode a long time ago.
I did have some of the merchandise back in the day, I remember some action figures and a Dr Zaies piggy bank that was about 3 feet tall.  I think I may have had some of trading cards too.

I really enjoyed all the podcast cometary that you guys presented, especial some of the behind the scene facts, how some of the same props were used from other TV shows.  I really liked listening to the audio of the movie trailers too, they were just assume.

I have seen the Tim Burton version back when it was in the theaters and my brother has it on DVD. I thought it was OK at the time, just different.  However me and my brother loved the new rise of the planet of the apes movie, we both loved it too and so did my girlfriend as well. she also like the Tim Burton  version.

anyway excellent job Rick and Mike thanks for all you work on that podcast.
I am going with the best information that I have.

Very enjoyable episode, I need to rewatch the series and actually see all of them this time. Alas, Netflix doesn't have them...
