See a trend coming, have a great idea, or maybe you just got back?

I predict that in 10 years, it will be illegal to manually drive your car on the freeway - only side roads.
No one will use currency only debit and credit transfers from your mobile device or card.

Any guesses on the Post Office?

This one was spot on...

Who knew you would be shopping on-line at work too?!

i predict that one day NASA will be brought back to the fame it once was, of course we need to solve a whole ton of other problems first, assuming we're going to. also eventually we will have settlements on mars. that may be hundreds of years from now (if we don't blow ourselves up first) but it would be cool to see it happen. perhaps we'll end up a lot like firefly, with one giant dictatorship and lots of rebels and stuff. adventurous, sure, but not at all the future that would be preferable.

but certainly, all these theories can be brought under one roof. i can safely say that the future is awesome, regardless of what's going to happen, it will be epic. :)

I think a new Space Race is just around the corner. This time with more countries, companies etc as major players.

I think online shopping and delivery services will expand to the point that someday going to a store to purchase things will seem archaic.

The eternal optimist in me believes we will be a space faring species.:)

I predict that schools and most teachers will be replaced in the future by online learning - for the most part.  I can see a time when most instruction will be online, with only meeting up occasionally for question and answer periods.  I'm not a big fan of this idea, but I can see it happening someday.

This is an easy one - Space Tourism, it's the lowest hanging fruit.

"Virgin Galactic intends to start offering flights just beyond the space barrier on a rocket ship it has built, featuring five minutes of weightlessness during a two-and-a-half hour jaunt. At $200,000 a seat, this will open the final frontier to far more people."

The University of Phoenix is a good example for higher learning. I know three people In my office who are currently enrolled.

Started in Arizona '76 and is now international, offering over 100 degree programs.
The average age of a University of Phoenix student is between 33 (undergraduate) and 36 (graduate), and most students have work-related commitments.

- Are you predicting that this could also work in primary and secondary education?
