We may never see warp speed in our life times, but it's fun to think about the possibility!  Here is an article of possible interest to you.

awesome! i mean not the disintegrating part, that would not be fun, but the theories are sure interesting.

Why do scientists seem to go out of their way to invent new strategies at blowing up planets?  First it was the death star, now its just slowing down....
