This week on the podcast I got a chance to chat again with author Mike Martin.  We discuss his latest Trek novel set in the Enterprise time frame.  It's called "To Brave the Storm" and it tells the tale of the Romulan War conflict.  We keep the chat pretty spoiler free, so I think you can listen without any real spoilers for this book.  We also have another new Trekmas song from Rick Moyer this week.  Thanks for that and I hope everyone enjoys the cast.

P.S. A happy coincidence but Mike has also done a couple of "Roswell" books as a followup to the TV series and we talk a little bit about those too.

I really enjoyed this weeks interview with Michael Martin.
After Enterprise ended I read 'The Good That Men Do' and 'Kobayashi Maru' and appreciate the continuing story.

Your comment on printed books was particularly interesting.
I still prefer hardcopy and my last purchases of sci-fi appear to be print-on-demand runs from Publishing 180 or  Synthetic Worlds sold through Cafe Press.

I was able to complete one collection of 15 out of print volumes due to the seller wanting to  liquidate their remaining inventory.

A nice interview, the Enterprise follow-up books being somewhere on my list of things to read one day! I enjoyed the thought and feelings on publishing in general as much as the talk on the book itself.

A very interesting conversation you had with Michael and I found it funny when you asked him about the Roswell books and he said he wished he had some copies of them. Why wouldn't he have some of his own books?
