Wellthefeed ba k I'm getting from those lucky enough to be in bets, is that it is a great game. Shame there's no life time option on the sub. But they are loving it non the less.

Why would you want lifetime?  Not exactly a great investment idea considering how quickly MMOs can die off.  No, I really doubt any MMOs would offer that in good faith as it would mean that game would last at least 70 years...give or take.  Year subscriptions sure, but lifetimes?  No.  Even WoW won't last for much longer if my guess is right.  The problem is people move on, graphics get too old and companies change.

Lifetime subs are about equivalent in cost to 18 months of play time (at least that's what they were charging for Trek Online and Champions Online), around the 200-250 dollar mark.

Looks like beta invites for this weekend's play test have gone out! Apparently anyone who had signed up for beta it getting invited this weekend for a massive load test.

Rico

I got a new invite for the weekend.  What day does it start this week??

Bahh!  They want a test.  Turn the servers on and go home!  LOL!   :roflmao

ElfManDan

I got another invite. If my computer could handle it maybe. Though I heard Roosterteeth got the permission to put up Old Republic videos pretty soon so I'm excited for that. I may not have an interest in playing it very much, but I'd love to hear about your guys experience with it.

Yeh the NDA has been lifted. We can talk all we want.

Rico

If we did a beta test a couple weeks ago we shouldn't have to download the whole game again - right?

Rico

Well, I just logged in and it seems there's at least 12 gig's of patches to update the game.  So, get downloading!

Rico

Big queues again.  About 800 in line on the server I picked.  I think maybe my last beta characters are still there!

billybob476

Mine are, they didn't do a wipe from last beta so yes, all your characters should be there. I'm sitting in a 300 person queue at the moment.
