pepsi and mae west is for breakfast!

Well things went very well at the client.  Now sitting at the airport.  Flight doesn't leave until like 5:30.  Tried to switch to an earlier flight but it was going to cost like $422!  I won't even make the company pay that.  So I wait.  The extra bad thing is I fly back through Chicago too.  I should be home about midnight.  So, I think I'll take tomorrow off!

Rico

Oh look...my posts have little Montreal airports image tags!

The funny thing is that when I fly anywhere I usually connect through Detroit :)

Outside the gate window...

What time does your flight arrive at O'Hare?  Is it a quick turnaround or will you have time for dinner?

Only have like an hour on the ground.  Probably not time for a meal really.  Hey Rick, is there weather in Chicago?  They just announced a delay for another earlier Chicago flight.  Any idea why?

RickPeete

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED  AN AREA OF HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA. DOPPLER RADAR  ESTIMATED THAT BETWEEN ONE AND A HALF INCHES TO JUST UNDER TWO  INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN WITHIN THE ADVISED AREA.  * RUNOFF FROM THIS RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING TO OCCUR

It has been raining on and off all day and rain is expected throughout the evening.  Radar shows the rain front circling over our area so yeah, that is probably why delays are happening.

Hopefully by the time I leave it will be better.  Still about 90 minutes to go to wheels up.

RickPeete

Let's hope so.

The doppler radar projection for the next four hours does not show the rain leaving the area.  But hopefully it won't interfere with your flight.  The good news is that the airspace between Chicago and Canada is pretty clear.  All the 'weather' is slightly south and west of the airport....
